Here is an update.I too tried different USB ports with the same result as Pam. Based on this I would think the problem lies some where in the latest firmware. Then it started and continues on multiple devices and with multiple software. As noted previously, I used the Savi with teh Ring Central softphone for almost 6 months without an issue. I am not looking to blame anyone I just need a solution. Also, and more importantly, I hope to find a solution. This is why I am reaching out to a larger audience in hopes that I am not the only one experiencing this. I would think if this was a hardware issue with two separate new units there would be a much bigger issue.

I think this is either a software or firmware issue. I have at times thought each may be a contributing factor but as noted above, by elimination and testing it appease to be more likely that the issue resides with Plantronics.
